BOBBY SCHWARTZ
Bobby Schwartz is an artist, producer, and creative director with a background in design, animation, video production, and marketing.
He founded Dual Animal in 2015 while studying Film and Television at Riverside City College, initially producing award-winning short films under the label as a vanity card. What began as a student work quickly evolved into a full-service creative studio, leading Schwartz to develop content and design work for companies including; Blizzard Entertainment, Valiant, Film Threat, Moving Art Studio, Studio42 and DMG Entertainment. During this time, Dual Animal also championied independent film as a creative partner and sponsor for the highly-successful, Award This! independent film awards show.
Alongside his independent work, Schwartz spent several years in the public sector directing award-winning marketing campaigns, broadcast television commercials, and short-form documentaries for county and community initiatives, allowing him to develop his skills as an advocate, and hone his abilities to tell stories at a larger scale.
In 2019, he served as editor and co-producer on the G4TV retrospective documentary Attack of the Doc (2023), which earned a 98% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. The project marked a pivotal moment in his career and began his long-term collaboration with producer Walter Areas.
Today, Schwartz and Areas co-lead Dual Animal Studios LLC. as a “Creator’s First” multimedia production company and publishing imprint dedicated to empowering independent artists. As co-publisher and creator of Dual Animal Anthology, Schwartz oversees a growing slate of comics, animation projects, and music. This includes his webcomic-turned-animation pitch, Chuck & Mike. Blending his collective exepriences, he continues to build Dual Animal into a platform where creators and original stories thrive.
